Melrose Diner was a treasured South Philly landmark. It was the gem of West Passyunk Avenue. “Everybody who knows, Goes to Melrose”…. and we did. We consumed many Sunday breakfasts here, even throughout the pandemic. Maybe it’s coming back, who knows. The last we heard was the building owner was going to put up some apartments with Melrose Diner 2.0 on the first floor.
